In my previous life, I worked as a financial consultant in Singapore. The work bored me and to dull the pain, I traveled as much as I could. One morning, I just couldn't take it anymore and I quit. I then volunteered in Guyana, backpacked around the world and finally decided to follow my passion - travel.
I started my first hostel with a grand sum of $10,000. Somewhere along the way, I met the love of my life and we grew our 4-room hostel into a company with 5 locations, 3 coffee shops, 2 bars and 50+ employees.
Having successfully automated the business, I focused on expanding my business knowledge while completing an MBA at Columbia Business School in NYC. Together with my amazing hostel crew, we are now taking all the lessons learned from our 8 years of running hostels and building incredible software to take our industry forward into the next generation of experiential travel.
